I’ve spent most of my life as a lawyer during “work hours” with a passion for fashion and design as a hobby. A few years ago during a trip abroad where I visited custom fabric manufacturers, I had the inspiration to turn that hobby into a full-fledged business called WKND WYFR. From my home office, I began custom-designing bags with the vision of creating fabulous accessories at a price point everyone can afford, yet chic enough to take anywhere. My company is, quite literally, powered by social media. Using Instagram and other platforms, I’ve been able to develop a global customer base, literally from my home. This sort of “social-media-powered entrepreneurship” has allowed me to turn my dream into reality.
