Congress is considering legislation that would upend online advertising services that have lowered barriers for start-ups, leveled the playing field for entrepreneurs and small businesses, increased choice and decreased costs for customers. The Competition and Transparency in Digital Advertising Act (CTDA) would eliminate new industries that have arisen thanks to the free and open, ad-supported internet.
