Ashley Reed and Colleen Martin are neighbors, friends, and the co-owners of The Balloon Garden. They are also the creators, communicators, designers, confetti cutters, tassel straighteners, balloon inflators, and smile makers. The Balloon Garden is a boutique balloon business designed to add a little “something extra” to any celebration. Best known for their custom 3-foot mega balloons with floor-length tassels, Ashley and Colleen also create garlands, bouquets, and gender reveal balloons for customers across the state, including the University of Tennessee Athletics Department. The Balloon Garden uses social media and paid advertising because these methods are cost‑effective and target prospective customers. Facebook and Instagram are especially valuable for the business since they are highly visual platforms, allowing Ashley and Colleen to showcase how their balloon designs elevate parties, weddings, and birthday celebrations.
