From stitch threads to twitter threads: using the internet for growth

I opened Thread’s doors in 2012 and have grown its brick-and-mortar and online presence. I am influenced by vintage bohemian and minimalist fashion and strive to lift & support other small businesses – especially women and minority-owned businesses. The internet has completely reshaped our business and how we have grown over time. Online initially was a secondary component but now is the priority with sales and advertising. We rely on the internet for customers to find them, and to advertise to have a chance to attract consumers.
