MyRing launched in 2021 with the mission to create affordable, quality, handmade jewelry tailor-made for each customer. Throughout my career in jewelry, I’ve frequently heard people discuss how they enjoyed particular elements of a piece but walked away because it wasn’t customizable. I knew I could provide that service without the pressure of a jewelry store. Most of my business is done on Instagram, Facebook, and through word-of-mouth. On social media, we use influencers who help us get traction and more attention. Just this year, we have grown our Facebook audience from zero to 1,300, and our Instagram audience from zero to 2,300. Operating solely in the digital arena can be difficult at times, but the internet and social media are great places to grow business.
